Silent Disco
Come and join us for silent disco by the cricket pavilion. Fun for all ages – children and grown ups alike. We will provide the headsets and the music – just bring your dancing shoes!
Dance the night away listening on a headset to your choice of three channels of music.
It is free for all to attend, just come along and join us. We may just have to ask you take turns with the headsets if it gets busy.
There will be the usual Feast Week licensed bar running out of the pavilion and Meat Up food van will be joining us. So whether you want to dance or just join us for a drink, the pavilion is the place to be!
Hopefully the sun will shine and we will be able to dance outside, but if not, we will move inside the Village Hall.
Never heard of a silent disco? Well you are in for a treat & this is the perfect way to see what it is all about!
A silent disco is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones. Rather then using a speaker system, music is broadcast to the wireless headphones worn by the participants. Those without headphones hear no music, giving the effect of a space filled with people dancing to nothing!
When you arrive at the cricket pavilion you can dive straight in and grab a headset or just get yourself a drink from the Feast Week bar whilst you watch & see what its all about.
There will be lots of headsets available, you just borrow one from our team handing them out, pop it on your head and then choose which of the three channels of music you want to listen to. Then dance away to your hearts content. You will be surrounded by others doing the same – but they may be listening to different music!
We will have members of the committee on hand to help if you have any questions or need help.
